What you need

  • Meta Quest headset (Quest 2 / Quest 3 recommended)
  • Treadmill (any model for start)
  • DeoVR app installed on headset
  • Stable Wi-Fi connection or premium on DeoVR for downloads

How it works

VR:GO! videos are recorded at real walking speed. You simply match your treadmill speed to the video pace (usually between 4–6.5 km/h).

Instead of increasing speed aggressively, use incline to scale intensity while keeping movement stable.


Recommended beginner protocol

  • Start at 4.0 km/h
  • Walk 20–30 minutes
  • Keep incline at 0–2%
  • Focus on steady breathing


Intermediate protocol

  • 4.8–5.5 km/h pace
  • 30–45 minutes
  • Incline 2–6%
  • Maintain conversational breathing zone

Safety tips

  • Before starting, remove the facial interface cover to enable mixed reality mode. This improves airflow, reduces sweat buildup, and makes the session more comfortable.
  • Use the joystick to make small steering corrections so the video direction stays aligned straight ahead.
  • If the video stops (for example, at an intersection), pause the treadmill. Resume walking only when movement continues in the video.
  • Monitor your heart rate in real time using a smartwatch or fitness tracker.
  • Use handrails during sharp turns or terrain changes.
  • Do not start with advanced routes.
  • If dizziness occurs, stop immediately.
  • Stay hydrated during longer sessions.
